On April 26, 2012, the Board of Directors of the National Fastener Distributors Association voted unanimously to retain Vickie Lester (Lester Management Services) to provide executive management for the Association.

The transition of the NFDA office from SmithBucklin in Chicago, Illinois to the Lester Management Services office in Los Alamitos, California will occur during the next few months.

& nbsp;

Vickie Lester is no stranger to the fastener industry, having started her association management company in 1986 with the Western Association of Fastener Distributors as her first client. & nbsp; Later that same year she brought in the Los Angeles Fastener Association to her company. & nbsp; In 2009 those two associations unified into what is now known as the Pacific-West Fastener Association. & nbsp; In addition to Pac-West and its Fastener Training Institute, Lester and her team also provide management services to other organizations from her Southern California office. & nbsp;

Dear All American Fastener Show Exhibitors & amp; Attendees:

As you may recall, on February 29, 2012, Branson, Missouri was struck by a devastating tornado. The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, site of the 2012 All American Fastener Show, incurred considerable damage during the storm.

In the weeks following the tornado, All American Fastener Show organizers were informed the hotel would be repaired in time for the show on May 17th and 18th. However, organizers were notified late Friday, March 16th, that the hotel will not be available as originally announced.

We hoped, despite the circumstances, to be able to continue with the show this year. Unfortunately, timing does not allow selection of another location, so our only option is to cancel the 2012 All American Fastener Show.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience as a result of the 2012 show cancellation. A refund of your paid registration fees for the 2012 event will be provided (as applicable for those pre-registered and paid as of date of event cancellation).

On a brighter note, we are currently planning the 2013 All American Fastener Show and are excited to inform you we are relocating the 2013 show from Branson to a metropolitan location in the Midwest (still in the middle of the US). By moving the show to a larger city with better connecting airline flights, we trust it will be easier for everyone in the fastener industry to attend the 2013 show.

As soon as plans are finalized, we will contact you regarding the location and dates for the 2013 All American Fastener Show.
